Title
Bullying
Introduction
Just like a mean clown, I will shout at you and push you down. I seem big and bad, but I am really just small and sad. With words, I cut you deep and with my hands I hit to make you weep. But you have power over me, if you just brave enough to see. My weapon is your silence and fear- without it, I wouldn't even come near. Today I am talking to you about bullying and how we can stop it for good!

Big Idea 1
Types Of Bullying
There are many types of bullying. There is cyber bullying, verbal bullying, social bullying and many more. Social bullying includes bullying people in public, teasing, and purposely pushing people around. Cyberbullying is when people bully you on the internet. Verbal bullying is name calling and saying mean words to others.

Big Idea 2
Why People Bully
People bully other kids because they are stressed and having difficulty at home or in the classroom. Many people bully others because they don't know how to deal with frustrations, hurt, anger that they are feeling.  For example someone being picked on and doesn't know how to deal with it, they get angry and start bullying others.

Big Idea 3
Here are some Ways to get help to stop bullying. If your getting bullied at school there's a lot you can do. You can go ask your friends if they can help you, you can walk away and find a safe place to wait, The most important thing is to go to the teacher and tell them what's happening.

Big Idea 4
Ways To Stop Being A Bully. If you wanna say something bad to someone just keep it to yourself. You can walk away from the person. You should talk to an adult or teacher you trust about why you are feeling like that or to your friend. If you think you have bullied someone in the past, just apologize and it will be ok.

Concluding Statement
Bullying can be big problem for young children especially children younger than you. Bullying is not a thing you have to be doing, it is a choice. You can choose to walk away and not do it.  It's never alright to bully other kids. It never makes you look cool by doing it. Be the person that can be friendly with everyone and be resilient and say no to bullying.

The Mighty GorillaImage result for Africa map where gorillas live
Gorillas are animals that live in Africa. They can live in the Congo, Rwanda and lots of other places that have forests. We have a big responsibility to look after them.

What do Gorillas look like?
The gorilla is huge with large heads and can be up to 6 feet (1.80cms) tall. Gorillas have really strong muscles that can help them climb huge mountains and walls. They have arms that are longer than legs. Gorillas have thick trunks like a panda. Gorillas are coloured black most of the times. They can live for 50 years.
Gorillas Diet
Gorillas eat loads of food like stems, bamboo, shoots, and also fruits. Gorillas don't eat meat because they are vegetarian but some lowland gorillas have learnt to eat termites and caterpillars.

Gorillas habitat
Gorillas live up high in African forests, high on mountain tops. as  high as 10,000 feet up. The gorillas live where it is cloudy, misty and cold. Some live lower down the mountain in warm forests.
Gorillas Behavior
The gorillas have good behaviour, they only get into trouble if threatened. The silverbacks are the leaders of a troop. In a troop or family you will find lots of females and their babies. Gorillas mostly play and make nests in trees to sleep in. They have good smelling and hearing.

Gorillas are delightful animals. They play with each other, and it's really cool because they can even communicate with each other with sign language. I think that humans have a huge responsibility to look after these incredible animals.

Science In A Van

Today we were lucky because science in a van came and visited our school, they did a show and everyone loved it. We learnt that if you have a L&P bottle and make it a bit hot you can put it in water and it will implode. This means it will crunch in on itself!

StoryWeb The 2 Frogs and the Well

We have been learning to create a StoryWeb

Story By:Aesop
Settings: In the hot sun
Characters:Two frogs (one is little the other is big)
Beginning:
It was a hot sunny day and the trees were sweating, the ducks were thirsty and the frogs pond was empty. there were two frogs and they were really hot one day, so they started hopping over mountains, then they saw a well and they peeped up into it, to see if there was water left.
Middle:
so they peeped up and saw fresh water, and then the two frogs hopped in and drank a lot of water but then, the big frog said “wait what if we drink all the water” (small frog) “we will sink” (big frog) “we won't be able to jump out” (small frog) “ohhh then what do we do”(big frog)”we get out come on” so they jumped out and the small one said “but all the ponds are empty” (big frog) “i know” (small frog) “um mm okay?”
End:
so they hopped off back to their pond.when they got back there pond was full of water and they started hopping around. and they had a lovely day in their pond.
Evaluation: I thought this story was entertaining and I’d rate it 7/10.
