Review of the year

This year was my favourite year being at Owairaka primary school. In Room 25 we have been cleaning out our drives and our desks for the new Room 25 students. It is really sad to leave Owairaka because most of my friends are not going to the same intermediate as me. This is my last blog post of 2018 because our Chromebooks are going away Tomorrow so that they can clean out all the stuff in our drive and gmail. At Owairaka primary one of my favourite subjects was sports.  When I was 8-9 years old I use to hate sports until I heard Owairaka was having a Netball team, I ended up joining and made it in to the team. Another favourite of mine was doing puzzles, during class free time I would pull out a puzzle and start putting pieces together.

This will be my last blog post of 2018 so I would like to say Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Make sure the Grinch doesn't steal Christmas!

Maths + Art = Marts

In Room 25 we have been learning about ratios. For this activity we had to mix 6 different colours of paint to make other colours for our art. The maths part was that we had to write down how many colours and what colours we used to make the colour you had made.

Here is my art.

My visual description

This week for writing we have been describing an animal so that another person can try drawing the animal you had already drawn. The best part about doing it to me was drawing the animal.
Do you think you can draw my animal?

Roll a story

In Room 25 we have been learning how to write narratives and what to include in our narratives here is my story I wrote.

Character: A fire-breathing dragon
Setting: Inside a hidden cave
Problem: Got lost in space

The moon started to show as the fire breathing dragon glided away from home. As time goes by the poor dragons wings were getting tired, suddenly he collaps into a hidden, dark, misty cave. Looking around he couldn't see anything so he crawled around in the cave and suddenly he saw a light.

Sprinting past it the fire breathing dragon felt like his wings were trying to lead him somewhere his wings made the fire breathing dragon fly high up. The dragon was confused, he didn't know where he was there where thousands and thousands of bright, white, stars. He tried flying down but the fluffy clouds were in the way and it was to foggy that he couldn't even go home. When the moon went down and the sun started to rise the dragon quickly flew like flash down through the clouds and down he went back to his dragon family.

I'm going to add a picture later
